Central has a variety of activities as we observe Holy Week.

Palm Sunday

Let us commemorate this day together. Feel free to post a photo of you with a piece of greenery on facebook before the service Sunday. Maundy Thursday

On Maundy Thursday, we are holding a special interactive service on Zoom. We plan to add virtual breakout rooms where you can fellowship with members of your parish in observance of Central’s traditional Maundy Thursday practices. We will also be observing Communion during this service.
You may get more information on our Zoom meeting and how to join by emailing mwmaguire@cpcatlanta.org
Good Friday
7 p.m.
In observance of Good Friday, we are partnering with Morningside Presbyterian Church and Covenant Presbyterian Church for a service of solemn music, Scripture readings, and communal prayers.
The service will be streamed on facebook live, Youtube and on our homepage, http://www.cpcatlanta.org.
Easter Sunday
Morning Prayers at the Courtyard
Starting at 7:15 a.m.
We will have two prayer services. The first service will start with cohort #1 at 7:15 a.m. and will be open for up to 30 people (or 25 family systems). Each cohort will remain in the courtyard for 35 minutes – this includes the 10-minute prayer service and 25 minutes for fellowship. Participants must respect the 35 minute window reserved for their cohort and exit the courtyard promptly upon the completion of their assigned time. Participants will be required to wear masks at all times and encouraged to bring their own coffee. The church will set up 30 chairs throughout the courtyard for those who wish to sit. The morning prayer service includes reading scripture, sharing prayers using scripted liturgy and the Prayer Tree in the courtyard, and reflecting on the good news of salvation. Cohort Times
Cohort #1: Arrives slightly before 7:05 a.m., enters the courtyard between 7:10 and 7:15 a.m. and exits the courtyard by 7:50 a.m.
Cohort #2: Arrives slightly before 7:50 a.m., enters the courtyard between 7:50 and 8 a.m. and exits the courtyard by 8:35 a.m.
Cohort #3 (Courtyard Volunteers): Arrives slightly before 8:35 a.m., enters the courtyard between 8:40 and 8:50 a.m. and exits the courtyard by 10:15 a.m. This time window reflects the fact that volunteers assist in setting up and taking down the tables and provide other necessary items to serve our guests during the courtyard ministry.
Easter Worship
