  • Central Shares Drive-by
    Sunday, Nov. 15
    4 to 5:30 p.m.

    Centralites can provide donations for Emmaus House’s annual Thanksgiving family meal while safely socializing with Central friends on Nov. 15 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the homes of Debbie and Jerry Miller or Gayle Knight.

    Members are encouraged to remain in their vehicles with a mask on. At the drop off location, volunteers will help to unload. Afterwards, members are welcome to stay briefly for a time of fellowship with your friends from church on their front lawns.

    This event is part of Central Shares: A Drive by Food Collection for Emmaus House. This year, Emmaus House will provide meals for 200 families.

    Here is a list of items:

    Donate side items (if possible, bring all these items in a bag as a packet)

    • 2 Cans of String Beans (English cut)

    • 2 Cans of Corn

    • 2 Cans of Peas

    • 1 Can of Cranberry Sauce

    • 1 Large Bag of Stuffing

    • 1 Box of Brownie Mix

    Members may also contribute financially to the purchase of 200 Turkeys. Members can donate directly to Emmaus House at https://www.emmaushouseatlanta.org/donate or you can bring a check. If you have any questions, you may contact Jasiel H. Garcia.

  • Vicki Fey will offer a session for 2-4 year old children – “Rhythm Fun with Miss Vicki.”  This will be a 15-minute, once a week Zoom session beginning the week of September 27.  Below are several options – please email the day and time that works best for you.  This is not only for Central children – children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbors, friends are invited!  Email address is vfey@cpatlanta.org.
    Option 1:  Tuesdays at 2 p.m. or 5 p.m.
    Option 2: Wednesdays at 11 a.m. or 4 p.m.
  • Chancel Choir Rehearsal (Virtual)

    Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. 

    We would love to have you join the Chancel Choir in our virutal rehearsals. You do not need to have any previous experience and all of our rehearsals are over Zoom.

    Sunday, Sept. 20
    4 to 5:30 p.m.
    Join us Sunday from 4 to 5:30 pm for our first Central Shares Drive-by. For this month the Down Yonder Parish will be hosting at Martin and Linda Lehfeldt’s home while the Brookwood Parish will be hosting it at Bede Campbell’s home. These two locations will be available for drop-off and fellowship. If you need more information about these locations and the shopping list, make sure to contact your parish coordinator or our Associate Pastor Jasiel Hernandez.
