Central Presbyterian Church will host our annual All-Church Retreat at the Montreat Conference Center in beautiful western North Carolina August 30 – September 1. This is a time to refresh, rejuvenate, and commune with Central friends – new and old. Montreat andWestern North Carolina, including many of our Central beloveds, have experienced devastating natural disasters, and we pray and hope to be mindful and respectful of what our friends and the Western North Carolina community have experienced through Hurricane Helene and its aftermath. This year’s theme for the retreat is “Stories That Shape Us,” and together we will share, reflect, and co-create stories guided by our faith and commitment to radical inclusion. And there will also be plenty of time for unstructured fun and relaxation!

Dr. Hannah Murphy-Buc and Dr. Yvette Conyers will co-facilitate Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning programming. Their bios are in the Resources section of the registration link above.

Like all Central programs, the annual All Church Retreat is designed to be a welcoming experience for all. The Retreat is intended to provide space for connection and community-building, nurturing Central’s congregation and commitment to each other and to God. Cost should not be a barrier to participation. Registration fee waivers are available. Please contact Kate Culver at kculver@cpcatlanta.org for more information.

Registration fees include programming, three meals (Saturday lunch and evening meal, Sunday lunch), and housing. Lodging for adults and youth is available at Reynolds and Winsborough Lodges and the Assembly Inn on the Montreat campus. Georgia Lodge (across from the Montreat playground) has been reserved for families with young children.
